At the 21st Plant Science Student Conference at the Leibniz Institute of Plant Biochemistry (IPB) in Halle (Saale), Christina Sievering was awarded the GfG Prize for Best Scientific Poster, endowed with €300. Her poster, “Establishment of robust transgenesis and genome editing in oilseed rape (Brassica napus L.)”, presents her research at IPK Gatersleben on developing genome-editing methods for oilseed rape, with the aim of enabling new approaches to breeding high-yielding, climate-adapted varieties. The prize was presented by Dr. Markus Kuhlmann, Treasurer of the GfG.
